I have a brand new freebie kit for you all. It was done as part of the Dabbling In Design challenge over at PDW
Here in Australia we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but that doesn't mean we should not sit back and think about what we are thankful for. Personally I think we should do this every day, not just that one day a year. No matter how bad things may be in our personal lives, we all have things to be thankful for. So if we do this, then even the unhappiest life seems brighter.
Ok, on with the freebie
You can download this here
please remember to leave some love if you do.
And if you use any of it I would really LOVE to see your LO's
email address in in the TOU.
happy Thanksgiving to those that celebrate it

Finally an update, and 2 very cute freebies
It has been forever since I had time to just sit and write here. So much has happened.
I was RAK'd over at DST twice, and got some very lovely new kits to play with. Hopefully I will get some playtime so I can show you them.
Then I got Layout of the week over at DSO which really thrilled and surprised me. This was the LO:
On a personal level, we finally got granted Disability Pension for my son. So that is a huge relief. We also got the refund from the Electricity company, and that mess is pretty much resolved.
Ok, on to the freebies!
First is these really useful Glass Hearts I made while just playing today.
You can download them here
Don't forget to leave some love if you download.
Next is some very cute Hand Painted Flowers I made while playing around also.
You can download them here
Again, please leave some love if you download.
Hopefully it won't be quite so long until the next update.......

A LO, a kit preview, and an update
Wow, what a crazy 2 days.
Monday, I spent the entire day on the phone trying to sort out the mess with $1449 having been taken out of my bank account. Finally after taking it to the Ombudsman, they agreed to have the money back in my account the next day.
Irony was that the bank finally late Monday dishonoured the debit that had been taken out on Friday. That went back into my account on Tuesday. Then the electricity company repaid me, which also went into my account on Tuesday.
So in the end I DID end up having to pay the electricity people $1449......LOL.
Tuesday, I spent most of the day at Centrelink with my now-16 year old DS filling in the paperwork for him to be assessed for Disability pension, and the interim payment of Youth Allowance.
Did find a little time to create though.
First was a LO I did for Challenge #10: My Favourite Things over at Scraphead Forums
Then today I finished off making this Mini-kit for the Dabbling In Design challenge over at PDW
Here is the preview for it. The kit though won't be available for download until November.

Flower Power
I did a little add-on for the papers today while playing around in PaintShop Pro. Just 5 really sweet flower papers.
Funny how I have found myself checking my bank several times yesterday and today, even though I know that there is no way that the money has gone back in yet. And of course have come across so many bargains while killing time browsing scrap shops.....lol!
I did get some luck this weekend though. I won the $10 random draw voucher over at DigiShopTalk Forums to go spend at Designs in Digital.
So on to the Freebie

Welcome to my Blog and a Freebie!
Never thought I would be one to have a blog, but here we are....my brand new blog!
So what do I write........hmmm.....let me tell you about my day yesterday.
I woke up, did my usual get on the computer to check mail over my morning coffee. Decided to check my bank account to see how much money I had spare as I really wanted to buy Kim B's Designers Surprise Kit Bag 2 and SweetMade's Sweet Double Treat before they ended on the weekend.
Well you can imagine the horror that went through my mind when I found that $1449 had been taken from my account, leaving me with $0. And instead I was severely overdrawn.
So I rang the bank trying to get some enlightenment on where the money had gone to. Predictably the bank was no help, but through a process of elimination it boiled down to most likely being my Electricity supply company. So I phone them next. Yes, it was them, instead of taking $129 they had taken $1449!!! They admitted their mistake and agreed to repay me. Thank heavens, I think........but there was one small hitch. It was a Friday, and the money had not actually reached them yet, and would not do so until the next business day at the earliest.....Monday. So it was back on the phone to the bank again. Could they possibly do anything to rectify the situation before then. Short answer was predictably, No. But they would possibly waive the overdraft fees as it was an error.
So there I was, Friday lunch time by now, and no money at all until at least Monday, maybe Tuesday or later.
And no possible way to buy the Kits I had so wanted to get. I was as much disappointed about that as annoyed at having no money at all until the error was fixed.
So on to the freebie:
I have been doing Kim's Colour Challenges over at DSO the last couple of months. This is the papers for October's colours.
Can't really see that well in the preview, but the top papers are towelling type fabric, and the bottom are spotted.
